| This was the first time that the Shandong Bar Association sponsored an international speaker – Mark Merric. Approval for the speech required six governmental approvals that are represented by the governmental officials to the right of Mark Merric. These distinguished officials gave introductory speeches for the event . |

Mark Merric presented a one day continuing education program to over 80 Shandong attorneys. Shandong is the richest province in China. |
| Lisa Liu, CPA, translated the speech. Lisa is a Fudan University (2nd or 3rd ranked in China) graduate; holds a Masters of Accounting – University of Denver; and is pursuing her Master of Taxation at the University of Denver. |  |
